Could have been better we kept missing a Purple Heron at Titchwell that was there for over a week but other birders were standing for up to 6 hours to see this illusive bird and we were not willing to stand in one spot for that length of time. We also did not see the Golden Orioles this is the third time we have tried without success if nothing else we bird watchers are very patient people. Hope I have not missed anything out as I am the sole list keeper. Thank you for your interest if you have gotten this far. Love and happy birding as we say. Love
Joan.
Joan that is some list you have there ~ will you still be able to catch sight of the Purple Heron and the other birds you missed as you are now back home ? Ally

Hi there Joan.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your birding list.
I am one of those birders that sticks, in the main, to their own patch and because of this there are birds that I have not seen.
I have yet to see, from the birds on your list, Little Egret, Cetti's Warbler, Montygues Harrier, Pale Bellied Goose, Woodlark, Bearded Tit-something I have tried hard to see- and Dark Bellied Brent Goose.
I gather, from the things you have seen, that you and your husband must have had a wonderful time and I am very pleased for you both.
May you have more wonderful sightings, before the year is out, and that you are kind enough to share them with us all.
By for now,
John.
Wow Joan! That's certainly a lot of birds! I've only been over to this journal once before but I'll put it on alerts now, must have forgotten last time! Jeannette xx
